A small example

Sometimes you just need somewhere to start.

You

My daughter was just diagnosed with Down syndrome. I don't know where to start.

Atticus

That's a lot to hold. Let's start with one thing — has her pediatrician mentioned Early Intervention services yet? That's usually the most important first step.

You

No, not yet. What is that?

Atticus

Early Intervention is a state-run program that provides therapy services — like speech, physical therapy, and developmental support — for children under 3. Your pediatrician can refer you, or you can contact your county's EI program directly. Would you like help finding the right contact for your area?

→ Atticus runs inside Telegram, so there's nothing new to install.

What Atticus does

Practical help for the questions that don't have an obvious answer.

01

Benefits & programs

Help understanding state and county support programs — what's available, what you may qualify for, and how to get started.

02

Milestones & screenings

Thinking through milestones, screenings, and what may matter next — so you can walk into appointments with better questions.

03

Appointments & reminders

A way to keep track of follow-ups and deadlines — the kind of things that slip when you're managing everything else.

04

School & IEP questions

Support for school uncertainty, IEP prep, and advocacy — helping you feel less alone in those conversations.

05

A calmer starting point

When everything feels fragmented, Atticus helps name what matters first — so you can take one step instead of twenty.

06

Ongoing support

Designed to become more helpful over time — learning what you've already asked about and what comes next for your family.

Why I built it

Mikhail, founder of Atticus, with his child

Built from lived experience

I'm Mikhail — a father, and someone building from lived experience. My family knows firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate therapies, support systems, school questions, medical follow-up, and the small decisions that come with raising a child who needs more support.

Atticus is here to make that journey feel a little less fragmented, and a little less lonely — a tool you can turn to for practical guidance when you need somewhere to start.

Important

Atticus is not a doctor, therapist, lawyer, or crisis service.

It's a support tool — not a substitute for professional care. Atticus can help you organize your thinking, understand your options, and feel more prepared — but it does not provide medical, legal, or therapeutic advice. If you or your child are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Privacy & trust

Built carefully, and always honestly.

Atticus does not sell your data, share your conversations, or use them for advertising. Your messages are processed to generate responses and are not shared with third parties. There are no accounts and no tracking pixels.

Atticus is not HIPAA compliant — it was not built as a healthcare platform, and making that claim would not be honest. It is built with privacy as a core value: minimal data collection, no retention beyond what's needed, and the ability to request full data removal at any time by contacting atticussupport@gmail.com.
